Thanks Adam for Help with This Video

Many thanks to Adam Salamey for helping me shoot and edit this video clip for ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education).

I’m just trying to show that virtual worlds are full of regular people just trying to learn, play and grow their minds.

Whyville at McU

Many McU students are now using Whyville.net to learn, explore and just plain have fun! Due to last week’s parent meetings, the moms and dads are on board with us and ready to play or let play. The great thing about Whyville is that it is more than just a game. It was developed on a science grant and its sponsors are groups  like  the Center for Disease Control, University of Texas, Bankinter (a bank from Spain) and NASA. Whyville offers a safe monitored area to learn about online chat, virtual worlds, science, math and more.  If you haven’t been on, you should check it out!
