Please have your child at school by 9:15 Wednesday morning.  Remember all luggage needs to be clearly marked with your child’s name, and all medications need to be in the original bottle with your child’s name clearly marked.

Thank you parents and students for all the school supplies and wonderful letters!  I love my door and the breakfast and luncheon were fabulous!!  Thank you for making me feel truly special!

It’s hard to believe it’s already March!  Only three and a half months left of the school year and lots of learning to still be done!  Below is a schedule of events in March for you to put on your calendar.

March is Reading Month officially kicked off on Friday March 1st.  This months project is to read a book of their choice (one they have not read) and dress up as the character from that book.  They will do a brief presentation in front of the class telling about their book and character.They must have their book with them for their presentation.  Books must be picked out by March 6th. Students may choose a book from home, but they need to have it approved by me first.

Camp Meeting – March 21st @ 6:00 in the auditorium (parents only)

Our Tamarack Camp Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday March 21st at 6:00.  We ask that at least one parent from each household attend this very important meeting.  This meeting is for parents only.

I  wanted to thank all the parents for donating food and supplies for our Valentine Party.  Also, thank you to Mrs. Boccarossa for scooping 23 dishes of icecream out for the students!! The students loved all their Valentine’s and thank you for all the wonderful gifts!

The week of February 25th:

Field Trip – Thursday Feb., 28th.  Students need to bring a sack lunch with a beverage for the trip.  We will leave at 9:15 and return by 1:30.

Family Trees – Due Friday March 1st

Due to the snow day on Friday, all tests and quizes will be moved to the following day,  Science will be Monday, and Math will be Wednesday.
