The end of the year is quickly approaching!  I wanted to let you know about some upcoming events and what’s been going on in fifth grade.  First of all, conferences are scheduled for next Wednesday, April 8th.  I have sent conference notes home.  If you did not receive one that means I do not need to talk to you at this time.  However, if you feel the need to speak to me, please let me know and I will schedule you a time.

I have received almost all the camp notes and money.  Remember all forms and money are due Wednesday, April 1st.  Checks should be made out to Lindbergh School.

We will be doing a live broadcast on Tuesday, March 31st with our pen pals from Howard School.  Students have written 2 minute mysteries and we will be having a contest to see which school can solve the most mysteries.

Variety Show notes have gone out and the first practice is tomorrow March 31st.   The next practice is Friday, April 3.

April Project – Students have been assigned the Family Tree Project.  A note with directions will be coming home today.  This project is due Thursday, April 30th.

Clean Up Parade – Thursday May 21.

Vocal Music Concert – Thursday May 28.

Pen Pal Visit with Howard – Tuesday June 2nd.

Field Day – Thursday, June 4th.

Levagood – Friday, June 5th.

Promotion Ceremony – Thursday June 11th.

As you can see things are definitely busy in the fifth grade!
