The Media Center would like to invite all teachers to stop by the reference area in the library TODAY. You can relax and browse through our withdrawn books and old vertical files and enjoy some holiday goodies!

Model UN will be selling Krispy Kreme donuts on Wednesday, November 26th at 2:20 p.m. in the main lobby.

Do you like to play mind games? No real mind-building academic games? Then the Dearborn High Chess Team is looking for you. The Chess Team will begin meeting this Tuesday and Wednesday after school in B-4. So if you would like to expand your mind, meet in room B-4 Tuesday, November 25 at 2:20.

Key Club is Dearborn High’s longest running Service Club. All students are welcome to attend Monday meetings after school in the Media Center. September and October produced 516 hours of volunteer community service. Congratulations to the following Key Club Members as we honor them as Members of the Month for outstanding service in September & October: Sabrina Bazzy, Madina Elder, Samia Ftouni, Yasmine Ftouni, Jannelle Hamoud, Vayda Kasbah, Katherine MacFarlane, Devon Moore, Jillian Rivait, Sema Tayeh and Rebecca Weaver. Amazing volunteers, each and every one!!!

There will be no Gay-Straight Alliance meeting this week. The next meeting will be next week on Wednesday, December 3rd in room B-21 after school.

Attention all American Red Cross Members: There will be a meeting Tuesday, December 2nd in the media center right after school. Please remember to bring twin sized fleece blankets in order to receive community service hours. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Hipple in the counseling office.

Attention Freshmen: There will be a mandatory class meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 2:20 in the Media Center. Students interested in running for class representatives must attend. Elections will be held at this meeting.

If you are parking in the student lot without a parking pass, the Dearborn Police will begin issuing tickets. You must purchase your pass in the student office for $20.00. No temporary passes will be issued.

If you did not attend Academic Achievement night on Tuesday, November 18th you can pick up your certificate in the main office before or after school.

There will be a can food drive held next week, November 17th through November 26th in order to “can the principal.” Please bring in as many can goods as possible to the cafeteria next week before school. The class with the most can goods will earn a special prize. So bring in as many can goods and let’s can the principal!
