STAFF:
The United Way campaign began on Monday and will continue to run through next Friday, November 21, 2008. If you have not had a chance to look over the materials yet, please take the time soon to read the pledge card carefully and consider making a contribution to the United Way. If you choose to participate, place the completed pledge cards in my mailbox on or before 11-21. I have extra pledge cards in my room if you have misplaced yours. Also, let me know if you would like a designation card…I’ll put one in your box when they come in.

Donate new children and teen books now for the Spectrum Human Services libraries. Spectrum works year round with children that cannot be in their home due to extenuating circumstances. They also provide resources to families that can no longer pay for their mortgages and/or have been displaced due to a fire. Lastly, they also have a juvenile detention center for young people. Books have the ability to lift our spirits and help us deal with the challenges of life. Please consider dropping off new books to Ms. Rumler in the attendance office by Wed. the 26th of Nov.
