The Thunder Zone is packing up for the summer with a HUGE clearance sale next Tuesday and Wednesday, June 3rd and 4th, from 2:15 to 2:45. Prices are slashed, so stock up for next year at bargain prices. Cash only, and small bills please!
There will be a meeting for all students taking AP calculus next year on Tuesday, June 3rd. The meeting is at 2:30 in Room A202. If you can’t make it, please see Mrs. Maynor.
There will be a Girls Golf meeting on Wednesday, June 4th after school in the cafeteria. All interested girls should attend this informational meeting.

Detentions are no longer held on Thursdays, instead they will be on Monday – Wednesday from 2:25-3:10 and Friday 6:30 am to 7:15 am.
Seniors: A $1,000 Elder Foundation Scholarship for high school seniors is available. The scholarship was created to encourage students to think responsibly and to be aware of world events and conditions that undermine the human dignity of civilian populations. There is no minimum GPA required to be eligible for the scholarship. For more information, please see Mr. Baydoun in the counseling office. The deadline is Tuesday, May 13th.

Attention seniors: it’s time to apply for the PTSA Scholarship. The PTSA will be awarding two $500 scholarships.Seniors can pick up an application in the counseling office, the deadline is today.
Attention students who want to run for Class of 2010 and 2011 Officers: You must pick up applications in the Student Office. There are six officers for each of the two classes. If you are currently a junior, you may run for one of the four Student Council positions. You must read and meet the criteria to make sure you are eligible to run for office. These applications are due back to Mr. Tyler in room C-3 no later than May 6th.
Cheerleading clinics for the 2008-09 football and basketball seasons will be held as follows:
Tuesday, May 13th and Wednesday, May 14th from 6 to 8 pm in the Main Gym. The tryout will be in the Main Gym Friday, May 16th from 6pm until we finish.
