The Thunder Zone is packing up for the summer with a HUGE clearance sale this Tuesday and Wednesday, June 3^rd and 4^th, from 2:15 to 2:45.  Stock up for next year at bargain prices, like hoodies for $15, flip flops for only $3, baseball hats for $2.50, and much more. NO return or exchanges. Cash only, and small bills please! 

Students taking AP European History or AP Government must pick up their summer work from Mr. K by June 11 in room B-9. 

There will be a meeting for all students taking AP calculus next year on Tuesday, June 3^rd.  The meeting is at 2:30 in Room A202.  If you can’t make it, please see Mrs. Maynor. 

There will be a Girls Golf meeting on Wednesday, June 4^th after school in the cafeteria.  All interested girls should attend this informational meeting. 

The girls’ swim team will have a brief informational meeting at 3:15 on Thursday, June 5^th in the cafeteria. 

There will be a VARSITY cheerleading meeting for football season on Wednesday, June 4^th right after school. 

The Islamic Club will be holding their last meeting on June 3^rd at 2:20 pm in room B-13. 

Underclassmen may pick up the yearbook they ordered today in Room E-12 after school.  Underclassmen may purchase yearbooks before and after school in Room E-12, or during lunch this week.

The Breast Cancer Awareness Program continues  in honor of Mrs. Linda Gohl,  who is battling cancer.  There are still some pins and other cute items for sale in the Library.   Students can purchase raffle tickets during lunches and all day in the Library.   Tickets will be 50 cents each.  Check the bulletin board at the end of A hall to see what is available for the raffle. Our school goal is $3,500!  We can do it!!! 

Today’s lunch will consist of: Chili, beef-a-roni, chicken noodle soup, hamburgers, crazy bread, fruit, cheese rolls, salad, srtombolis, and nachos

Detentions are no longer held on Thursdays, instead they will  be on Monday – Wednesday from 2:25-3:10 and Friday 6:30 am to 7:15 am. 

Seniors: A $1,000 Elder Foundation Scholarship for high school seniors is available. The scholarship was created to encourage students to think responsibly and to be aware of world events and conditions that undermine the human dignity of civilian populations. There is no minimum GPA required to be eligible for the scholarship. For more information, please see Mr. Baydoun in the counseling office. The deadline is Tuesday, May 13^th. 

To all Students: The Yemeni American Public Affairs Council is sponsoring their 4^th annual YAPAC Career Fair tomorrow from  1:00pm- 4:00pm, At

Attention seniors: it’s time to apply for the PTSA Scholarship.  The PTSA will be awarding two $500 scholarships.Seniors can pick up an application in the counseling office, the deadline is today. 

Attention students who want to run for Class of 2010 and 2011 Officers:  You must pick up applications in the Student Office.  There are six officers for each of the two classes.  If you are currently a junior, you may run for one of the four Student Council positions.  You must read and meet the criteria to make sure you are eligible to run for office.  These applications are due back to Mr. Tyler in room C-3 no later than May 6^th.
