Any student registered for AP Chemistry next year who did not attend Tuesday’s after-school meeting must see Mr. Hargraves in Room D201 no later than Monday (6/2).
Next year senior wrestlers are to meet with Coach Hargraves, Coach Pizzino and Coach Ball in Room D210 after school at 2:20 this Friday, May 30.
All students that did not pick up their honors cords please come down to the office and see Mrs. Salamey Today or Thursday morning.
All National Honor Society members should come and see Mrs. Salamey in the office on Thursday, May 29, 2008 to receive their National Honors Society Stole. A $15 dollars deposit is required for these stoles. NHS members will be refunded this money once NHS members return the stoles to Mrs. Salamey after graduation. Thank you.
All Students going to Cedar Point on Saturday, May 31 should attend a meeting on Thursday, May 29th, in the cafeteria, right after the 7th hour. Mr. Balboul, Mr. Saad. And Mo Bazzi.
Homecoming court 2008 nominations are now available for the classes of 2009 and 2010 on the front of Mrs. Gass’ office door.
Any senior who did not make it to the Senior Photo please show up Wednesday, May 28 at 12 noon in the boys gym.

2008-2009 Testing Out August 28 – 29 2008
New testing out policies will be adopted for the 2008-2009 school year:
• All testing will take place on Thursday, August 28th or Friday, August 29th
• Testing will be available for students entering grades 9 – 12
• These will be the only test out opportunities for 9th–11th graders for the entire year
• There will be one additional test day in January for 12th graders who fail first semester
• The tests will take place at Fordson, in the cafeteria
• There will be a series of AM and PM test sessions, as demand requires
• Students must sign up by June 20th, 2008
• Forms will be sent to building secretaries
• Students will need to supply summer contact information for testing updates
Established requirements still apply:
• All requests must be approved (subject & course level) by Mr. Majed Fadlallah.
• Testing will be available for students entering grades 9 – 12
• Students must present a current picture ID. No exceptions.

The Fordson Varsity Swim team has reserved the main gym on Thursday, May 29th (2:15-4:15 p.m.). This activity day (Basketball, Volleyball) is open for all boys and girls who are currently on the swim team, and all students who plan on trying out next year. Students should plan to arrive promptly by 2:25 and stay for at least 30 minutes or until dismissed.

“A New Course”
Due to a state grant, a new course for next fall entitled: Intro to Advanced Arabic Literature, is now available. Students shoule be very fluent in Modern Standard Arabic reading, writing, and speaking skills. This will be a one semester course worth 1/2 credit. See Mrs Hammami (All3) or your counselor for enrollment information.
SENIORS: Prom attendance is directly related to school attendance. For those students who are tardy, late, or skip classes you will find you have made a choice not to attend prom this year. You have two months to make sure your attendance is perfect.
Seniors!!! Our years are coming to an end faster than we know it. To make our days memorable, we present to you our own class of 2008 film which will begin next semester. This is your video. Submit your photos (pictures of games and friends) on a CD or photo copy with your name, telephone number, and email address to Ms. Elder in the counseling office.
