USHISTORY: Monday: 2 worksheets to review distinguishing fact from opinion and vocabulary. HW: USE your text to review the causes and effects of the industrial revolution. We will draft an essay in class tomorrow. Make plans to type the final copy later this week.
Tuesday: Drafted expository essay (5 organized paragraphs) from writing prompt on the Industrial Revolution in America. We will proofread/edit as part of the writing process in class tomorrow. Make arrangements to have typed final copy turned in on Monday. Please remind your parents to VOTE today

Wednesday: Some Great Writing, Yesterday!!!!! Final TYPED copies of the essay, and the drafts are due Monday. We “Partner Proofed/Edited” our Essays on the Industrial Revolution. Practiced questions for the Unit Test–Tomorrow. Please be ready with power points for chapter 12 on Friday. (If you scored less than 16 on the Chapter 11 test, you have an extra assignment again–You must outline chapter 12 by next Tuesday.)
Thursday: Reviewed the unit and took the Unit Test of 11 questions. (See above for outline, essay and ppt info.)
Friday: Checked Unit Test and worked through power point for Chapter 12. Work on reading studying/outlining chapter 12, the Age of Jackson. All must complete the graphic organizers.
Eastern Hemisphere: Ch 27.1 Make and complete graphic organizers. Use QAR with page numbers to complete questions 1-7.
Tuesday: Ch 27.2 Make and complete graphic organizers. Use QAR with page numbers) to complete questions 1-5 and choose to complete either 6 or 7. (6 or 7 Due Friday.)
Wednesday: Ch 27.3 Graphic Organizers. Use QAR with page #s to complete questions 1-6.
Thursday: Ch 27.4 Graphic Organizer. Use QAR with page #s to complete questions 1-7.
Friday: Shared Tuesday’s assignment in class. Used the KWL strategy to view China video portion for review.
