US History: The Classroom Divided continues this week. Parent Letters were sent home–thank you for sending in the $ for the ice cream social, everyone! Tests on chapter 14 are completed this week. Begin your study of chapter 15. 1st Hour: GO’s 2nd hour: first reading. 2nd hour completed the essentials and worked in discussion groups. We also spent sometime in preparation for the programs tomorrow morning. (Will will miss the better part of class for these presentations.) Progress reports went home for those students earning less than 70%. Please discuss strategies for improvement with your parents.
Eastern Hemisphere: Chapter 16. We created graphic organizers to summarize the info. Reading and comprehension questions 1-6 are due on Thursday, test day. Please complete section 1 on Monday 2 and 3 on Tuesday. Complete the chapter review, take the online practice tests in order to be ready for tomorrow’s test on Chapter 16. Progress reports went home today. Please keep up the good work and discuss strategies to maintain or improve with your parents.

i hope you are enjoying your break! I was absent the day my team decided the assignment we would have to complete if we did not recieve a 16 or higher on the test. I am in first hour on the South side.

Thanks for your note. (We had a really nice break). I hope you enjoyed your spring break, as well. I don’t think your team mandated the “16″ assignment this time. The study guide is now online, if you want to start it after reading the book. ‘Hope it helps
