5/1 & 5/2 Intro to Africa & Map Activity

Finally, we say goodbye to Asia :( and now we’re moving on to AFRICA :) !  Today the class took a pre-assessment to see what prior knowledge they had about Africa.  In order for the students to get a visual glimpse in the continent, they watched a short video about Africa’s physical features, people, countries, animals, and more. 

The next assignment was a fun activity.  The packet of maps asked the student to lable various regions, physical features, and countries.  Many of the maps were coming along nicely! 

REMEMBER: THE MAP ACTIVITY AND THE ACTIVITY ATLAS PACKET ARE DUE THE NEXT TIME WE MEET!
