Write 3 - 5 paragraphs describing the main features of iPhoto.

Describe the steps for making an album. Tell why it is important to make an album instead of using your library for slideshow and sharing.

Describe the steps for making a smart album. Tell why you might choose to make your albums smart albums instead of regular ones.

Describe the steps for exporting an album as a Quicktime movie. Tell why you might choose to do this.

FCA’s

1. must have steps for creating an album and smart album and why. (2 points)
2. must have steps for creating a quicktime movie and why (2 points)
3. must use standard (no im shortcuts) spelling, grammar and punctuation. (2 points)

Monday:

1. Go to the D-Tube sit. Make sure your Tour video is posted.
2. Watch 10 Lowrey Tour slideshows.
3. Rank each one up to 5 stars -

• music must play through the whole thing in order to rank 5 stars.
• Tags must say Lowrey and one more key identifier
• Write the names of the students you ranked in your bellwork journal.

Tuesday:  Watch Atomic Learning Video: iPhoto 5 - D5. Write a description of the Ken Burns effect in your bellwork journal. Go to your slideshow 4a and apply the Ken Burns effect to the first and last slides. Start the effect in the upper-left corner of your photo and end it in the lower right corner.

Wednesday: Search the Internet for 8 - 10 pictures that you enjoy. Import them into your iPhoto library. Write the steps you used for importing the pictures in your bellwork journal.

Thursday: Watch Atomic Learning Video: iPhoto 5 - I8. Write a description of a desktop slideshow in your bellwork journal. Go to your iPhoto Library and create a smart album and a regular album of your internet pictures. Make that album into a desktop slideshow.

Friday: Type 3 writing - click on the Type 3 category for directions.
