Kindergarten “Katch-Up”                                  January 20, 2012

BRRRR!  Well, I’m thinking we can officially say that Winter has finally officially arrived.  I guess we can’t complain considering it’s mid January.  We will go out side in snow & cold so please make sure to send hats, gloves/mittens, boots & snow pants to keep your child warm outside.  We go outside unless the weather reaches 15-20 degrees.

We welcome Ruthanne, our new student, to our class!

These last 2 weeks have been spent assessing for report cards & will continue next week.  It was great to see a few families at Science Night, it was a lot of FUN!

THANK YOU to Alex & Juliano’s mom for helping with our popcorn sale!  We couldn’t do it without your support!

I am working on posting websites on our blog for you to use at home with your kids, if you know of any that are not already on the list, please pass it along.

This link was shared with teachers to share with parents & families so I am forwarding it onto all of you:

We are looking for a few parents to plan our Friendship party.  As of right now I only have 2 parents signed up to help at that party so if you are available to come in & help on Tues. Feb. 14 please let me know.  Our party will be from 2:15-3:15 (because we have Art until 2:10) then we will get ready to go home.  As always we are looking for any great ideas, if you have any to share send them in.  I would like for the children to write their friends names on each envelope/valentine card.  I will send out a name list & post it on the blog for your reference. We have 22 students now!
