FYI Parents:
The end of the year assessment has been replaced by the Explore test which I am giving to students next Wednesday. (Star Math testing is today.) The following description is provided by the test authors:
The Mathematics section of the EXPLORE test consists of 30 multiple-choice items, which must be completed within 30 minutes. The subjects covered include pre-algebra/algebra (19 questions), geometry (7 questions), and statistics/probability (4 questions).
7th graders need to get at least 17 out of 30 right to meet the Explore criteria. There may be some practice questions online if you google it. Hope this helps.
