Thank you to all of the families that brought in food/treats for our Valentine’s Day party. The students loved all of the cupcakes, cookies, fruit, and veggies! Also, thank you for all of the wonderful cards and gifts. I have enough chocolate to eat for a year!
Just a reminder, that our classroom book order is due February 28th. Visit www.scholastic.com/bookclubs to order online. The activation code for first time users is J2NPV.
The 2nd graders will be making musical instruments in Science next Monday, March 5th. Please have your child bring in a shoebox, toilet paper/paper towel roll, and an empty plastic water bottle.
Our class has been visiting the computer lab, and exploring some fun and educational websites. Visit www.spellingcity.com for games, practice, and testing of spelling words. Also visit www.arcademicskillbuilders.com for great ways of practicing math skills.
We have some students who are about to complete all of their 3 minute tests of multiplication and division. Remember that the only way to pass these tests is to study the facts that you are on at home. Keep up the good work and you can earn a prize when you complete all of your tests!
Reminder that this Wednesday, February 29th is a Late Start day. The first bell rings at 9:35 a.m.

Does anyone know what is on the lunch menu tomorrow (Thursday, March1)? We don’t remember seeing a menu for March. Thanks.
1st choice is Bosco sticks, 2nd choice is Cheese Pocket Pizza. I didn’t get the lunch menus in time to send home yesterday. They will go home today. Sorry for the confusion.
