Where: Snow Elementary School

Cost: Assembly is free
$1.00/Ice Cream

Assembly will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.
Every child in attendance will receive a science gadget to kick-off summer fun.

Please make sure your child continues to go to xtramath.org as often as possible at home. The more practice a child gets with basic math facts, the better he/she will be at more advanced problems.

The Snow School Ice Cream Social is scheduled for May 14th.

We are planning a field trip for the end of the year for 3rd graders. The permission slip and information will be coming home in the next few weeks. It will be a field trip to Ford Bowling Lanes and we will be looking for parent chaperones to drive. Keep the date open as more information will come home soon.

ABC Countdown starts May 6th

ABC Countdown
This year, Snow School will celebrate another great year of learning by counting down the last 26 days of the school year with 26 special activities!

Please read through the activities and their descriptions as some days have your child wearing certain clothing and/or bringing items to class. Participation is not required but we hope that everyone will join in this celebration in some way over the next couple of weeks. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher. Thank you!

May 6 Animal Day Bring a small stuffed animal to class.
May 7 Beach Day Bring your flip-flops, sunglasses and beach towel.
(Remember that you need proper shoes for the playground and gym class.)
May 8 Create-a-Cookie Day You will get to decorate your own special cookie!
May 9 Doodling Day We’ll doodle and draw as a part of our classroom activities. Who doesn’t love fun artwork?!
May 10 Extra Recess Day We will have one extra recess today.
May 13 Flag Day Wear red, white and blue!
May 14 Game Day Bring a board game from home to teach others.
(NO electronic games, please.)
May 15 Hat Day Wear your favorite hat.
May 16 Ice Cream Day We’ll enjoy an ice cream treat!
May 17 Jam Day Pump up the jam! Bring your favorite CD so we can rock out to some music! (CD subject to teacher approval.)

It’s picnic raffle basket time! Every year each class puts together a basket to be raffled off at our end of the year Snow School Picnic. Our theme is Water Fun. We are looking for donations of anything related to having fun using water (water balloons, floaties, inner tubes, bubbles, ect..) Be creative and send in your donations. Let’s make our basket the best in the bunch!
