We just updated to Moodle 2.2 and my teachers are ready to revolt. Moodle has destroyed the gradebook layout by adding so many columns that unless your screen resolution is super huge, you will be stuck in the sideways scroll of death. The gradebook has added so many columns now such as email, user ID, start time, end time, duration, first name, last name, etc etc that by the time you scroll to the right to get past it all you cannot see the student name!!!
Moodle has effectively rendered the gradebook useless unless you have a 20 inch plus sized monitor set to the largest screen resolution possible.
To add all those columns and not provide a means to hide them is really wreaking havoc with my teachers.
Dear Moodle… please fix the gradebook when reviewing quiz attempts. Moodle did add the ability to hide these columns when viewing other assignments, but not for quiz results.
Please pOST IF YOU HAVE FOUND A WORK AROUND. wEIRD HOW YOU CAN’T HIDE OR CHANGE THE DEFAULT COLUMNS SHOWN. WE ARE ON 2.1 AND NOT FULLY PRODUCTIONAL YET BUT WILL BE IN FALL. THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP.
Actually I just found the solution. Go to Moodle.org forum post.
