TGIF! 

We have had an extremely busy week.  Thanks to all of the families that came to conferences-  I enjoyed speaking with all of you about student progress.

Today all students visited the library to renew books they are currently reading, or exchange for new books.  It is extremely important for all students to have Good Fit Books-  (books that are at their level, and that they are interested in). 

6th and 7th grade classes took the Editing Marks Quiz.  Grades will be posted in Zangle ASAP.

We finished up the Conflict in Literature Notes from yesterday.  These should remain in your folders for reference throughout the year.

6th Graders turned in their first set of Vocabulary Cards (4 total) to prepare for our first story in the Literature Books, The School Play by Gary Soto.

HOMEWORK FOR THE WEEKEND:

  • EVERYONE should read at least 16 minutes per day to keep up stamina!
  • 7th grade:  6 Vocabulary Cards due on Monday.
